Charity of the year – Trust House

We are delighted to be working with Trust House, Reading as our charity of the year.

Trust House Reading is a facility established with the assistance of The Survivors Trust (TST), which is a national umbrella agency for over 130 specialist rape, sexual violence and abuse support services. It offers a range of services to support women, men and children, living in the Reading and Berkshire area, who have been affected by sexual violence either recently or in the past.

Their core aim is to empower survivors of rape, sexual violence or childhood sexual abuse by improving effective responses to survivors. Their aim is to support all people in Reading and Berkshire who have experienced sexual violence, as no one should have to go through the effects of rape and sexual assault alone.

You can find our more about them by following them on twitter  @TrustHouseR  or liking them on Facebook trusthouse.reading

Two of our team were involved in the campaign to get this specialist centre set up and we have been fundraising, awareness raising and offering pro-bono work in support of their vital work.
